The mission of JRS is to accompany, serve, and advocate on behalf of refugees and forcibly displaced persons. JRS programmes are found in 50 countries, providing assistance to: refugees in camps and cities, individuals displaced within their own countries, asylum seekers in cities, and to those held in detention centres. In Singapore, JRS also has programmes to combat human trafficking and aid victims of human trafficking.

 

Please Support Our Work

Your donations will be applied to JRS programmes in Singapore to:

 

• Raise awareness on refugees, forcibly displaced persons and human trafficking issues among Singaporeans   through talks and exhibitions.

 

• Support JRS programmes in the Asia Pacific region. For example, by developing curriculum and course materials   for teaching basic English, teacher training programmes, and workshops for people at risk of being trafficked.

 

• Provide emergency and medical aid to victims of human trafficking in Singapore and assist in the repatriation of   trafficked persons back to their home countries.
